You can become a Volunteer Deputy Registrar in more than one county Texas law allows you to be deputized in as many counties as you’d like – even if you don’t reside or aren’t registered to vote in them. You must, however, reapply in each individual county. Reciprocity makes this easier by transferring your previous training and certification over to a new county, so you don’t have to repeat the entire process all over again.
If you’re already a certified VDR in one county, click here to learn more about the process for getting certified in other counties.
